Gary served in the police force for 30 years. Upon his retirement, he launched a magazine on Ufology, a subject he was passionate about. In 2002 he created an unofficial database for UK police UFO accounts, which led to him becoming the Vice Chairman of the International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research.
